Beautiful vintage Cousances Doufeu in an iconic deep cobalt blue enamel finish. An exceptional and highly collectible French cast iron piece from Cousances, part of the Le Creuset group, renowned for its quality and timeless design. This traditional “Doufeu” slow-cooking casserole features its original inner condensation lid system designed to retain moisture during cooking, making it ideal for slow-cooked dishes, braising, stews, and traditional French cuisine. Crafted in France in heavy enameled cast iron, this rare oval model combines functionality with striking vintage aesthetics. The rich blue enamel and elegant shape make it a stunning display piece for any vintage kitchen or cookware collection. Good vintage condition with normal traces of age and use consistent with vintage cookware. Interior remains clean.
